“Kulak’s is amazing in so many ways. First and foremost, their staff are all friendly and so helpful. If you’re looking to landscape your yard, they will help you pick out all the plants and bushes/trees and even lay them all out for you to see how it would look. They’re super honest about what will work well in your space and not just trying to sell you the most expensive thing. Yes the prices are more than a big box store, but you’d never get that kind of customer service there and the plants are better quality here. Their mulch, soil, and rock pricing is very reasonable. The only downside is if you need various combinations of these in bulk, you have to get each delivered at a different time and with a separate delivery charge since they don’t have dividers in the truck. It is still worth it since the price is great for the bulk landscape materials. The delivery guys are very fast, efficient, and friendly. Really this place is amazing all around.”

“Brian restored and refinished a mahogany chest of drawers that was estimated to have been built in the 1850’s and has been in our family for many generations. The finished was damaged legs broken off, knobs missing and drawers that would not glide. It had been stored in a basement and now is the most beautiful piece in my home. Worth every penny to have restored. I only wish I could post before and after pictures here. Yesterday he returned a antique cherry washstand, family heirloom, possibly older than the chest of drawers. It was hand made generations ago and literally falling apart. It’s beautifully restored, and proudly displayed in my home. Again, worth every penny.”

“Wow! I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They just finished a removal of an old system and install of a completely new septic system at our home. From estimate to completion of the job, it was one of the VERY BEST experiences I've ever had with a company. The pricing was extremely good and allowed for some of the project to be financed. We were concerned that the job might not be done before the winter, but they had it planned and finished before we were guessing that they'd even be able to start! The whole team was extremely professional and courteous and were completely a pleasure to do business with. It was clear that they knew exactly what they were doing. They even filled and leveled the yard in addition to putting straw and seed down after they were finished with the job. As you can see from some of the pictures, they even tolerated our chickens fighting over worms in the dug up dirt 🤣”

When we first met with Dave, he offered ideas on how to finance the project. He was honest, transparent and pragmatic about how to manage the project when we were faced with challenges arising from the pandemic (delays on raw materials, increased costs, etc.).
