If you are a novice, these trails are moderate with climbs. Take a walking stick/hiking pole, bug spray, and watch for exposed roots that can be trip hazards for youngsters. Take a good look at the trail maps because it can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with the area. It is worth taking the red trail if you want to see some beautiful waterfalls.

I loved the trails! Great place to hike. I brought along my dog and he loved it as well. I would recommend durable hiking sneakers on a wet day or after a rain, have fun!

Nice walk in the woods. Went on a Friday afternoon. No one around. Lovely trails tp catch the foliage and the dam waterfall. Very peaceful. Some good inclines to maneuver through. Well marked trails. Definitely recommend for anyone that loves nature.

This is a great nature preserve. There is a lot to see and the terrain is very diverse. With that being said, it can be very steep and also very muddy so travel cautiously and consider the abilities of those in your group. There are a few spots in which the trail is a bit washed out and you are on the edge of a slope. Much of the hiking trails are either along the edge of the creek or up on the ridge. There a many chipmunks to see, toads, crayfish, and deer prints in the mud. The falls are both cools but the third falls is a pretty good distance from the parking lot so you would need to plan to bring some provisions.
