Mike has extensive experience teaching and playing guitar.
He has been patient and encouraging with each lesson.
I am enjoying the lessons as I learn notes , chords and
how to read music.

beginner (like me) or someone that wants to improve
their playing.

I started taking lessons with Mike over 10 years ago as a birthday present from my wife! My previous proficiency at the time was beginner.

I would be no where near what I can do now without these lessons. From reading music, to holding the guitar properly, to holding the pick properly and more. I can now improvise with the vast majority of blues and rock music.

Thanks to Mike for being patient and always trying to find new ways to inspire creativity!

Mike is the real deal....teaching you the notes..teaching me how to read music so I will be able to play anything put in front of me. Real patient..6 weeks of me going ping ping ping pang ping ping...always helping me with my form and helping me stay away from the pitfalls that will slow my progress. Never pushy...if I don't understand he shows me...he checked out my equipment and helped me make improvements. ..I show up week after week with a small amount of improvement and he encourages me to keep going...very understanding. ..very experienced at guitar. .it's been great....

The lessons are going well, and I never learned to read music in school. I recommend Mike, he enjoys teaching. Come try, it always fun.
