  Having moved to Long Island from Queens where there is a plethora of great Sushi/Japanese restaurants I must say it has been a struggle to find a good spot for Sushi. Having tried every option available in the vicinity of Farmingdale and beyond I have finally come across Mizu. It is one of the absolute best Sushi restaurants I have tried thus far. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is outstanding. I know most people just order rolls when at a Japanese place, but please consider the appetizers and the salads. The Indian pancake appetizer was the star for me - airy and light with a great light curry sauce. The salmon skin salad - one of the best I have had - try it. The sashimi platter was beautifully put together and a work of art, the fish was very fresh and generously portioned. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

  Update: we just went to dinner Thanksgiving Eve with family. The store was empty but service, attitude, personality of the servers 5/5. Food 5/5, Prices 4/5. The worst food ever eaten here has been good.
  We went to Mizu Japanese Sushi this past Wednesday. We went on a recommendation of family. The staff was friendly, polite, professional and helpful.I have to say it was fantastic! The place is very nicely decorated, not a really hugh place but had several tables, good enough for a party to be had. The Sushi was EXCELLENT! Fresh, melted in your mouth fresh feeling! They have many varieties of rolls, and specialty rolls. We tried out two specialty rolls and three regular rolls. All had a nice fresh taste and no yesterday fish feel. I have to say go give this place a try! You will enjoy it if you like Sushi. I will go back!

  The food is absolutely delicious here! Very, very fresh sushi with an abundance of specialty rolls to choose from. The rolls were very flavorful with the additional fruit or seasoned crab meat.
  We ended up going on an off time so it was empty but I can see this place getting packed. The decor and ambiance is very chic. Service was a bit off- I think the waitress was new all together (she didn’t know Splenda, didn’t know drinks well, and they didn’t have lychee for the martini). But supposedly had a promotion going on where the alcohol was free...who was I to argue (but this wasn’t mentioned in the beginning...who would ?)

  Mizu Sushi is the best! It was my first time eating at this place, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is so zen and inviting. It serves a variety of interesting and mouth-watering items in their menu. The food presentation was great! The staff was wonderful, and the owner was super nice and gave us a very walm welcome as well! I loved the Godzilla Roll! The Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream tasted great as well! I will definitely come back and take the rest of my family to eat here next time!
