Dr alongi resently did my acdf surgery. He sat with me the whole time in the OR before surgery and made sure i was okay. Hes an amazing doctor. However the hospital stay at huntington hospital wasnt as plesant.
Dr. Alongi performed my second lumbar surgery. This surgery was much more invasive and extensive. I am healing well and faster than the first surgery (different practice and doctor). I got my initial appointment within days and had surgery within 8 days of my appointment. I walked in the office with 3 compressed nerve roots bent at a 90 degree angle and woke from surgery able to stand up straight with out pain. Dr. Alongi has an amazing bedside manner and is a true doctor. He carefully listens and CARES about his patients, their fears and opinions. He is not pushy with anything, he is direct and explains your options. Together you decided on treatment plan which you are most comfortable. While in the hospital, Dr. Alongi came to see me personally and explained how my surgery went. I never had a surgeon personally see me in the hospital after surgery. He has privileges at Huntington Hospital and I was AMAZED at the care I received. Dr. Alongi is one of two medical doctors I trust. His staff is amazing. The entire practice is gem. No wonder my entire town referred me to him!
