Brandywine Living at Huntington Terrace

  My grandma has been living at Brandywine for over two years. As someone who visits frequently (several times a week), I can say there is a warmth and caring among all the staff; the admistrators (who are very hands-on), the nursing staff, and the healthcare aides. The residents are kept busy with activites, outings, and I've been there for some terrific entertainers. All-in-all, I'm a big fan...and so is my grandma!

  I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about the experience I had with Brandywine Senior Living at Huntington Terrace. Brandywine provided a security and a home for my family. The importance of making sure that your loved one is properly cared for, given an enriching environment and surrounded by people who take an interest in your loved one is profound. Brandywine is a facility filled with staff that take pride in their work and the care for their residents. Brandywine was there for us as the care for my grandmother became more and more integral for her well being. If you are looking for a place that you can rely upon and know with certainty that pride and attention goes into the residents livelihood, than look no further. I highly recommend Brandywine Living to anyone who is need of a place to call home.

  My mom spent three years at Brandywine when her advanced Alzheimer’s made it impossible for her to live on her own. It is a beautiful and well kept facility with spacious rooms and park-like grounds. During her time there she was treated with the utmost kindness and respect from the amazing, caring staff. The staff provided many daily activities to provide social interaction, such as, arts and crafts, games, and various forms of musical entertainment. The nursing staff was also exceptional, listening to our concerns and supporting us through her failing health. It was a comfort to know my mom spent her final days in a safe, beautiful environment surrounded by caring people.

  My father has been living at the independent living for a year and a half. From day one, he has been saying how clean the building is, how well-kept and beautiful the grounds are, and how friendly and nice the staff are. His one bedroom apartment is just the right size - big enough to accommodate his favorite furniture and artwork from his house and feel at home, but not overwhelming. The staff are incredible! They go above and beyond to help and are genuinely warm and caring. My father has just the right balance of independence while having people around to watch out for him and spend time with so he is not isolated. The food is good and the activities are varied and plentiful. What an excellent choice we made!

  The facility is beautiful !!! It is kept extremely clean and it is very nicely decorated! The staff is superb, and they are all so very caring of the residents and have big hearts. The residents say that the food is delicious and they love all the activities that they have planned. In addition to the library rooms with the fireplaces where you can sink into the sofas and read a nice book! The rooms are spacious and comfortable! If you plan on living here or having a loved one live here, you should come and check it out, you won't be disappointed.
