I ordered a cover for my Marlow-Hunter 37. It is a difficult boat to get a cover due to the fixed arch. Leon Canvas came to the boat 3 times to make sure that it was correct. I received the cover and was very happy at how easy it was to install. I was able to install it by myself in about 2 hours the first time. I am sure it will be quicker next time. I have had the cover since November and waited until February to write a review. The cover was on the boat during a major East Coast storm we had in December with 70 mph winds and 5 inches of rain. It worked great. The cover is easy to install, stands up to bad weather and fits great.

I have ordered a custom winter cover for my Hunter 336. The cover fits like a glove. Catherine was the most helpful and her shop did a amazing job. I am coming back in spring to have them make me a custom Bimini and Bridge between the Bimini and my old Dodger. Definitely stop by and talk to them about your needs.

I ordered a cover for my sail boat a little late in the season. Leon Canvas gave me a date of delivery and they respected it , it even happened a little bit in advance. They made a cover that is held by an halyard in the front and the boom in the back. No more tube structure like my old cover needed. This is great. Every stanchion is wrapped by the help of velcros and the cover fit perfectly. There is no aperture were the wind can catch and force open the cover, like it happened when my old cover was destroyed. This is a lot better than a shrink wrap because there will be enough air circulation to prevent humidity buildup in the boat, forget all the chemical canisters that pretend to remove humidity , this is a myth, the solution is ventilation. I only need to keep the solar vents opened for that effect.

Like I heard before : The bitterness of the poor quality remains long after the sweetness of the price has been forgotten.

Again the cover fits perfectly and over my expectations, as a picky sailor I strongly recommend Leon Canvas. A little expensive but it is a good value.

this family owned business has great communication and did a beautiful job on my winter cover. they have many options when it comes to customizing the interior of my boat as well as the exterior! they have great pricing & work with you to get what you want! the patterns & fabrics that are available are one of a kind, and hand made. thank you catherine for being patient and so helpful! i will definitely be back for some interior customization!!

I’ve had extremely positive experiences with this team of fine canvas makers. I gave them a rather complex project with cushioning both interior and exterior as well as a Bimini cover canopy and hatch covers for my sailboat and the work is extraordinary. The interior is transformed they were creative in solving the various fitting problems required for a design as unique as my sailboat. I found them innovative paying a great deal of attention to detail and completed the various tasks to my Satisfaction. My wife whose taste level far exceeds mine is especially pleased. I can recommend them without reservation.
The prior owner did a fine job and the new owners (former employees of the previous owner) have continued the quality work.
