  This is the second time in a couple years that I've needed an emergency vet late at night and both times I've made the 20 minute drive here instead of ones closer to me because of the exceptional service and care. From the staff who check you in to the doctors, everyone is so incredibly kind and attentive. The facility itself is very clean and comfortable. Additionally, despite the visits being considered emergency, the costs are no where near astronomical. This is definitely my go to hospital for emergencies and if I lived closer, they'd be my regular vet for sure.

  I highly recommend this vet. We had come from a vet who wasn’t comfortable handling our 14 yr old cat as he was sick and becoming distressed at visits. Once we brought him to west hills, there was a huge difference. The techs and assistants knew what they were doing and my cat’s defensive behavior didn’t faze them. The vets were knowledgeable and compassionate. When it came time to put him to sleep, we chose to do it at our home. The west hills vet and asst that came handled our cat as if he were their own. Very empathetic and kind staff. Can’t thank them enough.

  I first went to West Hills on a late Friday night after my 6 month-old puppy couldn’t stop vomiting. They were prompt, professional, and the facility was clean. With how high quality the care was, I was concerned that the bill would be outrageously high, but it was completely reasonable. I’ve since been back for my other dog and I had the same great quality care. There are plenty of other animal hospitals and vets that are closer to me, but I drive out of my to come here.

  I am really impressed with this animal hospital. I was here a little over a year ago to have my dog's tooth removed. Dr. Kimberly Vissichelli was so kind and accommodating to my desire to limit conventional medication and use holistic approaches that I wanted to use first. During my most recent experience with Dr. Jared and Dr. Costa I felt just as positive, they also exceeded my expectations. They were very caring and accommodating. I can tell they all love what they do! I have had dogs for most of my life and have been to several places around here but never very happy with them. I will now be using West Hills Animal Hospital for all of my dog's medical needs!
