  Amazing as always. GREAT steamers. As busy as it was, including both service windows, full bar and all tables full, service was perfect. I wasn't waiting for a ferry, but they got those that were in and out in time, even though there was a wait and some people came 20-30 minutes before the ferry was leaving.

  Lucky to park right in front of Nicky's. during summer. Very GOOD fried clam with fries. Large portion, fried to perfection - dark brown, but not too brown. They did a good job getting my fries well done. I would order again,
  BUT, my wife did not enjoy the lobster roll.
  The lobster was chopped or shredded to small unrecognizable pieces.
  Because the meat was so fine, it held a lot of mayo. so it was mushy and over powers the lobster. No lobster taste. I want to see pieces of lobster meat in my dishes. The larger the better. Here, it's way smaller.... not good. I would avoid.

  Run, don’t walk, to the best seafood restaurant on LI... Nicky’s Clam Bar. The seafood is the freshest, the portions are huge and every dish Is delicious. Their signature drinks are great and you have to leave room for their scrumptious desserts (the doughnuts are the best). Not only is the food great but the atmosphere is friendly and the staff is incredible. Everyone is friendly, attentive and eager to please. We have eaten at many seafood restaurants but this one is by far the best.
