My father suffered a stage 4 wound at another facility.Thank God for St. Catherine rehab- or my father would be dead-The staff really knows their residents, administration is knowledgeable and caring- I would give 100 stars if I could! Best rehab in Suffolk county! ! Violetta nurse manager is a gem. Rehab kind and caring- we are so happy with the care.
My 93 year old grandmother sustained a horrible fall in her bathroom at home. She suffered 4 broken ribs & heavy trauma to her face. My grandmother may be 93 but is 100% independent & thank god in great physical & mental condition. I am the first to scrutinize the littlest detail & it is very hard for me to have someone outside of the family be trusted. WELL, my grandmother was blessed by having a SUPERSTAR of a nurse assigned to her (Nurse Nicole). She was the poster of professionalism & sincerity, lets just say because of Nicole... My grandmother went from not wanting to be there... to not wanting to go home! Nicole is an amazing person & an even more amazing nurse. There is no way to thank her for the compassion she showed to all of us involved! "You can't teach what she has inside of herself as a human being"!!! THANK YOU xoxoxoxoxoxox
My father was in the facility for an extended period of time, and passed away there at age 99. I felt the care that he received was excellent, including the way that the nursing supervisor and social worker handled his death. It was a very difficult family situation, complicated by the fact that we live on the west coast and I have serious health conditions. We were treated with great compassion and respect. I will always be grateful to everyone who cared for him.
