  Now that's my hometown there good people known them for many many many years lived in Barryville 95% of my life so the Diners right up the road that got good food good prices friendly service good conversations over a cup of coffee

  Very very good service and the food was excellent .We are on vacation and stopped here for lunch. We highly recommend this dinner and would rate it a 10. Will be back next year. Bob and Brenda Lloyd.

  Small and quaint. I would describe it as being the "Cheers" of food. Exceptional service, great food all at very reasonable prices for generous portions. I really enjoyed the hometown feel as the locals are having a conversation and a stranger is welcome to join in. This location may be a little out of the way, but it is definitely worth the few extra miles to go. Highly recommended.

I really like Irene's Eldred Diner even though I only eat their 2 times a year when visiting local friends. We usually have around 10 people when we go there for Saturday brunch. They always find a way to accommodate our large group and never get flustered by our very large orders.
