Great place for students, families, anyone! Educational and fun, so much to learn and see. Trails are awesome, too!
This is a great place to bring your kids and maybe even your parents! Lots of things to see and do; live animals to visit, and nearly eight miles of trails if you're up for a nice walk! You can also arrange to hold birthdays and other celebrations at the site. Call and talk to the staff if you want to arrange something. Volunteerism is also welcome... Ask to speak with Steve.
Went here for a training. The staff were very nice and actually took part in the training with us (I was sat next to Collin Martin, their Director of Education, who was very informative about their site). The whole place is well maintained, and there are a lot of educational displays to check out. There are many things outside and hikes to do that I wasn't able to check out due to time constraints, but will be back again!
Great place to visit. Short and well marked trails. No facilities though and a little hard to find.
This place is gorgeous! We came in fall in mid October just in time to see the fall foliage and it is spectacular here. Beautiful high and low paths that are color coded and fairly easy to follow. Some of the terrain is suited for experienced or mildly experienced hikers and the up hill slopes can get a little brutal but its definitely worth the trek to get to the high points. Amazing views and very tranquil. We didn't run into to many people along our hike. The park has its own parking lot and also its own park offices that have a nice clean restroom and also recycling for water bottles. Very well kept.
