  This is my first time getting my hair done at Slate and it was such a great experience. The hairdressers there are not only highly skilled, but also kind and very supportive. I will definitely be returning and making this my usual salon! Owner Staci did such a great job with my hair and eased any nerves I had by delivering such a gorgeous highlight. She executed each step with patience and skill.

  I love slate hair studio and all the girls who work there. It’s such a welcoming and fun environment! Not only do you get great service but you can enjoy yourself and feel at ease. There are so many nice touches from the atmosphere to the cappuccinos you get to enjoy while you’re waiting to get your hair done. Always such a great experience every time with Hailey. She is professional and always does an amazing job with my hair. Stacey and the other girls are amazing as well :) I highly highly recommend going to Slate hair studio you won’t regret it!

  I saw Sabrina the other night for a curly cut, and I requested bangs. I have been trying to get this haircut for years, but every time I try to, the stylists tell me “you won’t like how it comes out” and don’t give me what I want. Sabrina gave me exactly what I asked for, and was so friendly and welcoming. She did a beautiful job and I had a great time. I loved the atmosphere of Slate as well. I am usually intimated by the high energy of hair salons, but Slate was a lot more relaxing. I will definitely be returning!!

  I’ve been seeing Sabrina for over 6 months and she continues to do a wonderful job with my hair. I was with my previous stylist in another state for over 8 years and I tried many places in Westchester before finding Sabrina.
  
  Sabrina listens to what I want, immediately and long term, and explains what she’s doing each step of the way. She has helped me get my hair healthier after years of consistent bleaching. She has helped me find a style that works well on my wavy/curly hair whether I leave it natural or heat style it. I’ve also brought my daughter in for a haircut and received the same wonderful treatment.
  
  The salon itself is beautiful - very clean, well maintained, and all staff I’ve interacted with have been friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.

  I love going to Slate!!! All the girls are so talented and they’re sweethearts. I’ve been going there for years. I have very curly hair and I don’t trust anyone else to touch my hair. They really listen to what you ask for and I always have the best experience. Love my slate babes 10/10
