Sohn's impressive location, coaching and staff will far exceed any expectations you may have in researching a martial arts program for yourself and/or kids.   The complaints about billing, I believe, are unfounded. I have been a student at Steve Sohn's for almost 6 months now and my kids have been there for many years. I have asked them to hold billing while my kids did internships and sports for HS and although there is a month lag time, they always do it. So, I am not sure what the complaints are.
  
  All the instructors are positive, and supportive. Actually, pretty much all the students are as well. When I tested for my first belt, students were all assigned to attack me and multiple people saw me becoming exhausted and kept whispering "you got this!" and other supportive comments to keep me going. It was really awesome.
  
  They push you, but they respect your limits. They invite you to proceed as rapidly as you can but they understand that life gets in the way.
  
  Great school, glad to be a part of it. I am copy / pasting this post to Yelp and Facebook. Not because I'm a robot or a troll or because I work for them - but because they're a good school. I'm there almost every Sunday if you want to train with me and see that I'm a real person. Just say, "Who wrote that very long Google review!" :)

  Everyone there is supportive, patient, and trains you well for fighting! The staff could not be nicer then they are! Teaches you confidence, perserverance, etc. I have been coming back for the last five years and will continue to come back for years. The instructers know the students personally and are easy to ask questions to. This place helped me become a fighter and a more confident person. Highly recommend this training facility.

  The instructors are great to work with, and lots of time slots for all the programs. It is everything - self defense, fighting and great workouts. You will leave there anticipating your next class.

  If you want to be ready and prepared for any physical confrontation that may arise, then Master Steve Sohn’s Krav Maga Training Center should be your first and only stop. Master Sohn has surrounded himself with some of the best instructors in the world. Come in and see for yourself. Me, I like to Play the “W” game before I make any life-changing decisions. I encourage you to do the same upon entering the Training Center.
  WHO you’ll find is a wonderful staff ready to greet you with open arms. Allow me to briefly walk you through their certified staff. Sensei Erika Beintrexler and Sensei Kim Pistolesi run the office. Both these ladies are killer to be around and both are wonderful instructors. Sensei Erika was the instructor for my first Krav lesson at the training center and she’s near and dear to my heart. Head Instructor Anthony Colon will push you beyond your limits and show you that there is no such thing as limits. He encourages and inspires us to break the boundaries our minds create. In my opinion, he is the true definition of inspiration when it comes to my Krav Maga training. Sensei Nick Merchant pulls double duty teaching Krav Maga and Escrima (stick and knife fighting). His Escrima talents out of this world. He will show you how to turn something simple as a magazine into a self-defense weapon. I assure you that you’ll never read Men’s Health or Cosmopolitan the same again.
  Sensei Malik Ridley also pulls double duty at the Training Center. He teaches their striking class (for which I’m thankful for) and Krav Maga. His passion and knowledge for Boxing is second to none! If you want to know how to correctly stick and move, then I encourage you to take his striking class. You’ll walk out of there believing you can go 12 rounds with Triple G. Sensei Briana Nazario teaches their youth program. Her sunny disposition keeps the children engaged and eager to learn. She’s worked closely with my daughter for the past month and my daughter absolutely loves her. And rounding off the staff is Master Sohn himself. Master Sohn’s bio on their website doesn’t do him justice. Honestly, I don’t think there are enough positive words in the English language to describe one man. Master Sohn has accomplished so much inside and outside of the Martial Arts world and his desire to continue learning is what inspires me most. Here is a man that has several black belts in various systems, yet he continues to feed the beast inside of him with BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) training and incorporates what he’s learned into our training. This desire to merge the two disciplines is what makes Master Sohn the perfect instructor.

  kickboxing class. It’s designed to enhance your cardio and melt away the fat. If that isn’t enough you can take their Krav-fit class. Enhanced fitness training for strength and speed. And if it’s peace you’re interested in, stay and take their Tai-Chi class. I guarantee you that you will find what you’re looking for at the Training Center.

  I was instantly treated like family, and that’s their motto at the end of the day, the instructors and the students are all part of one big family. Unlike other places, the instructors here check their egos at the door. They’re here for you and your success is their success. I was a broken engine when I first started, but with their help, knowledge, and training I’m being rebuilt to racecar status! I can honestly say that my self-defense training at Master Sohn’s Krav Maga Training Center has boosted my self-esteem and confidence to tackle any situation that arises and, in this day, and age when the world seems to have lost all empathy and decency, I know I will never be someone’s victim and neither should you!
