We did a large modification to our grounds, adding about 50 shrubs, and other plants, both Annuals and Perennials, as well as a new rock wall. Harry, the owner, worked with us on redesigning the landscape and helped us pick out plants that would thrive in our backyard and give us a new look. He and his team carefully planted and fertilized them and moved existing plants to more appropriate locations.
His selection is extensive and includes some unusual plants that give us a treat, just looking at them. I think his prices are in line, given the health and size of the plants.

Mossy Fern installed plants in two brand new flower beds at our home. Great quality of plants, the team was very good and efficient, and when some of the plants we wanted were unavailable from their suppliers, the owner Harry went out of his way to source them and come up with great creative alternatives that kept with our overall design choices. This is a lovely place. Great selection and fun to meander through, and friendly staff. They have a good mix of houseplants and outdoor garden stuff. I particularly appreciated their selection of unique indoor plants, since it is surprisingly difficult to find these in westchester (frankly it is very strange to me that such an affluent area apparently has so few stores supplying indoor plant lovers - every store seems to focus on garden supply!). Anyway, the big caveat - the prices here are BIZARRE. I’ve been a frequent houseplant purchaser in NYC for years, and I’ve never seen prices like this. The prices for some relatively common varieties like little Hoyas and succulents are literally triple the price I’m accustomed to paying around here. Whereas certain of their other species are somewhat more reasonable. I don’t know what the prices are based on, but no one should be paying $50 for any plant in a 4” pot, I’m sorry. I would really suggest that they re-assess some of the tags.
