We had such a great time at Basque! Finally found a place in Westchester that makes incredible paella. Sat at the bar and Marino was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to go back.
Cozy little place with a diverse tapas menu. Wines were a bit limited but had good choices. The tapas were delicious. The anchovies were a bit too strong but everything else was a home run. So good! Worth trying. And the Cafe Bonbon was to die for and a great way to end the meal. Four tapa choices were plenty for two people.
Very nice experience here! We could have skipped the starters -steak & potatoes - as they weren't anything special but WOW the Paella was the best we have ever had! Wine was great and churros were delicious!!! Will definitely be back.
What a find! This is without question the best Spanish restaurant in Westchester County, and as good as anything similar in the city. The service is friendly and professional. Lots of small plates to share: most are large enough for a group of 4. Wonderful entrees, too, with lots of seafood options. The seafood Paella for 2 could easily serve 3 or 4, and the house salad was large enough for 3 or 4. We stated with the fired artichokes and the anchovies. Absolutely the best anchovy prep I've had this side of Spain. No reservations, but they manage to get you seated as soon as they can, and you can eat at the bar. So glad we tried this wonderful addition to Tarrytown!
Update: June 17th 2023
Things have only gotten better at Basque Tapas Bar.
Service is still efficient, attentive and friendly.
New carriers for the smoking hot Paella 🥘 pans. Don't touch the pan itself when it gets to your table....it's really hot.
Highlights:
Pitcher of Red Sangria.
Delicious!
Cod Fritter Tapas Special. Three chunks of perfectly battered and fried Cod. Served with a roasted red pepper Airlines for dipping.
Hands down our absolute favorite is the Carne Paella. Simply a meat eaters dream.
The Flan and Carmelized Cheesecake were perfect finish to an outstanding dinner.

Simply outstanding.
The attentive staff will care and serve your party with discreet efficiency.
The sangria is delicious and each glass or pitcher is mixed to order. We decided the red is our favorite. The pitcher will yield at least 4 good size glasses and is a better value.
The Tapas dishes are top notch but take note they are bigger than you might expect compared to other Tapas spots. They are closer to appetizer size and priced that way. Order accordingly.
The Garlic Shrimp was absolutely perfect. The Tortills Espanola is a creamy and delicious homerun.
Our entree was the Carne Paella featuring 2 cuts of beef, chicken, chorizo and a mushroom sofrito.
Presented in an authentic Paella pan at your table. Available and priced as dinner for 2, 4, 6 or 8.
The meats melted in our mouths and the rice cooked to perfection. This is a huge portion of food and worth every penny. Dessert we shared was Orange Flan and we wished we had ordered two.
Put this spot on your MUST TRY LIST.
