“I was pleasantly surprised just how good the Indian food was out of the city. The people living here should RUN not walk to eat at this fine restaurant! Best Indian I have had in years. We eat Indian about 1-2 x a week in NYC. I worked in an Indian restaurant in college and I've been to India. Therefore I would safely say try anything on the menu, and you will probably be quite happy. Communication is key, so make sure to be clear about your spice level, for example. The server we had, a man from Punjab, was so friendly and polite. The owner also wanted to know how our diner went. He gave us a sweet treat at the end as a thank you. I'm sure having a place so big can be hard to make enough but if the locals would just be a little adventurous and give this restaurant a try, I think they would be quite happy. I think they already have a large portion of Indian guests and host weddings.:) *...hint hint, they cater! * How fun would that be?! So much more interesting then everyday eateries. ❤️????❤️”

“Had the pleasure of attending a private event here yesterday evening. This is a beautiful location, although I wish I could have seen it during the day, as it's right on the Hudson. There's ample parking and the management was very friendly and accommodative. Having visited Thailand, I can assure you the food is good for Thailand comparison, and great compared to other US Thai restaurants. Being a private event, I had the pleasure of trying almost everything on the menu. They did have something I have not seen before, honey chili potatoes. Which were essentially french fries in a sweet chili sauce. This was my absolute favorite. I must admit, I stuffed myself with appetizers, and still managed to eat dinner. They have a separate area upstairs for private events, although we only had 35 people, I'm assuming they can cater to at least double that. Location and bathrooms are clean, and staff is attentive, quick and friendly. Will definitely be back!”

“Good today for lunch. Shepard's Pie recommended by waiter was tasty as was Beer of the Month, Hofbrau Oktoberfest, on draft. The waiter offered a taste first. We had eaten there many times, but not recently since before at both lunch and dinner we found the food disappointing to downright bad. Today an old friend suggested we lunch there, I accepted and found both the food and service good. I will go back”

“Pastina is a great local Italian restaurant in Hartsdale. It's been around for about 30 years and the food has been good since the door has opened. The décor is like being in a New York City restaurant. The owners are charming and funny. The staff is very consistent. The food is always excellent. They have an early bird menu from 4 to 6pm which is fantastic. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area.”
