“Place is beautiful. The restaurant is huge. The water views are beautiful. Background music was really nice. Service was great. Very friendly waitstaff. And now for the food: Clam chowder was good. Ceviche was delicious. Wings were delicious. Oysters were super fresh. Lobster mac n cheese was really good. Lobster roll was good. Cheesecake was smooth and light. Place is great for groups or for a romantic dinner. I will be returning as they have a nice big menu.”

We also had the sea scallops, which were good. “Good. Limited lunch menu. Good coffee and pastries. Many of the sandwiches have too much bread for me. Usually have croque monsieur on croissant (,ham and cheese) heated. Good mustard goes with it. I indulged with a gateaux Opera (very rich chocolate Napoleon--all dark chocolate) and a latte. Sandwich and orangina soda as well as gateaux Opera and latte we're $18.25(with out tip). Not cheap but worth it. Even though street parking is a bit difficult, although always seemingly possible.”

“Ben’s was a really nice surprise! There aren’t that many good sit-down Jewish deli-restaurants around, but this is the real deal as far as I’m concerned. They put pickles and sauerkraut on the table right from the start, and the whole place is dairy-free to keep kosher. I got matzo-ball soup and a pastrami sandwich, and sampled some goulash and a potato knish. All of it made me want to come back and have more… really good stuff.”
