  A sincere note to the wedding couple: First let us say that, although a parish may have many weddings at its church, a bride and groom have memories only of their own special ceremony there. It is unfortunate that you had these disappointments! Our Pastor’s day off each week is Friday, and therefore an associate priest, deacon or our rectory manager are in charge of rehearsals; thus, she was there that night to guide you through the ceremony. And although we normally do not have someone assisting the bridal party in the back of the church, a broken door hook was certainly not helpful to your entrance on your wedding day. We apologize and it will be fixed. We only hope that somehow this will eventually become a not-so-awkward part of your ‘wedding day story’ that is passed on!

  An exceptionally welcoming community that constantly strives to find new ways to live their Catholic faith.
  
  I was very fortunate to be part of a Laudato Si' study group that met weekly and was able to suggest ways the parish could improve their efforts to combat climate change and other environmental issues - our advice was welcomed and quickly adopted.
  
  There are numerous opportunities for individuals to become more active in the parish, and there is a place for everyone.
