  The curry goat is amazing tbh. If you get it fresh, or delivered within a short time, it's probably the best I've had so far.

  Great food! Clean and the staff were friendly! Food was hot and delicious! Met the owner Steven AKA "Ox" and Deiana (sorry if I misspelled your name), were very attentive! Ox, overheard my conversation with Deiana, it was our first time there, he came up to us and introduced himself! He used to live not too far from me in the BX. The kitchen is maybe 20 mins from my home now, I pray his business expands and he will open more kitchens! The food SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, will TAKE FLIGHT!
  
  I had the oxtails rice and beans and the Mac and cheese!
  
  The oxtails we AWESOME seasoned to the bone! The meat was tender and melts in your mouth!! A hint of spice, not much, ACTUALLY just right!
  
  The rice and beans- the rice was fluffy, the beans, tender and flavor galore!
  
  The mac and cheese NICE!👏🏾👏🏾 it's rare I eat and cheese outside of my home and it tastes like Mac and cheese!
  
  My daughter had chicken tenders and waffle fries! Now I usually don't care for tenders, but these were actually very good! I would order these for myself!
  
  Tenders- they were crispy and juicy and the seasoning was out of this world!
  
  Waffle fries- Who doesnt love waffle fries?? I haven't seen waffle fries in a good while. They were crispy as well and huge! In all its awesomeness!!
  
  Second daughter had garlic parmesan 6piece wings and waffle fries.
  
  Wings- tasty, seasoning didn't over power the taste of the wings! I really appreciate that! I want to taste flavor of the garlic parmesan, but I want to taste the chicken wings as well!
  
  Last daughter had plain chicken wings and the waffle fries!
  
  Wings- FLAVOR yippee! I love me some chicken wings! Seasoned just right!
  
  Overall, I am so glad my daughter lucked up finding this restaurant! I would say the pricing is $$ expensive, but what do you expect? Oxtails and shrimps prices are through the roof and Steven has to charge accordingly!
  
  They take credit cards and cash! Yippee!!
  
  Great spot for what I call "comfort foods!" And the plates are loaded with food! I can't be mad at the price, that doesn't usually happen!
  
  You know how most spots will fill your plate with rice or fries and a few pieces of meat?? Not The Ox Box Kitchen!!! They fill your plate to the rim with meat and sides! I couldn't believe it! YES YES YES!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
  
  I did have to wait about 30 mins for them to bring my food out to me, it was definitely worthwhile!
  
  WELL DONE!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Four hand claps for THE OX BOX KITCHEN, we all loved our food!! WELL DONE, TO YOU STEVEN AND YOUR STAFF!!!
  
  Yes, they offer GRUBHUB and others! So if you don't have to sacrifice going without some good food! WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?

  Creatively delicious dishes that will tantalize your palate...Affordably priced with heaping portions that MAY feed 2...🥰 this place!

  Support Black Owned Businesses! The place is located right off the highway with street parking in front. It says take out only as the restaurant has no places to sit down and eat inside but they do offer side walk seating. I ordered their loaded Oxtail fries with cheddar cheese. The oxtails were delicious and tender. I’m not a big fan of a lot of cheese so there was too much cheese sauce on the fries for me but if you’re into cheesy fries I would say order this. I do see myself coming back but trying something different.

  I ordered fried Shrimp & Salmon with fries. The service was flawless. They took my order and gave me regular updates on the progress. The food, omg the food was delicious. The fries were not soggy the shrimp was seasoned very well. The salmon was cooked properly and full of flavor. The amount of food definitely fit the value of the price. They take both cash and card so it was convenient. The owner made sure my order was to my liking and was engaged during the process. The overall experience was a good one for a new shop. I'm glad that it's a black owned business and I hope they do well.

Soooo, I ordered 3 plates of oxtail and fries (2 with cheese sauce & 1 with crab sauce). Very salty, overpriced (18.00+ per meal), and bad tasting. 10 min after eating, we all got headaches & I threw up but I don't cook with salt and the entire meal taste like salt.
