New Rochelle High School

Being in New Rochelle was an eye-opening experience for me. I loved how diverse the place was and most of the teachers I had were competent at their job. A few classes were frustrating as hell but that is all in the past. I’ll never forget some amazing people. Thank you Walter M. 💚I actually felt I was learning. The arts program really made up the bulk of the great experience I had in New Rochelle.

Unfortunately, not everything can be perfect. There were a lot of useless rivalries between groups in the school. Good teachers are also being targeted by the administration. Ever since I left, I've been hearing more news of violent happenings between students in the school. I hope the high will become a safer place in the future.

I really appreciate the opportunity to be in this school because I didn't know who really I am from the time I started but in the end I understood the meaning of each opportunity in my life thanks to all of the teacher that that I met there 2014 through 2017

New Rochelle High School has an outstanding faculty and an art department that functions at a very high level, offering amazing instruction in the fine and performing arts. NRHS is the only school in the state of New York with its own museum, the Museum of Arts & Culture, as well as a planetarium.
