I have visited DressesbyHilda two times and both times I was extremely pleased and very impressed at the quality of her work. She takes her time with the measurements and talked me into a perfect finish. My last visit, I took 9 pairs of pants for alterations only needing one for the following day. Not only was my request granted for that one pair but when I was notified for the pickup, all 9 pairs were ready and they were store bought perfect. So please do not hesitate as you will be very pleased. Thanks Hilda.

Not only is Hilda one of the sweetest human beings I’ve ever met but God bless this woman’s hands! Anything she touches is perfection! She made my wedding cape, designed and made all of my bridesmaids dresses. My bridesmaids were all different body types and had different style of dresses to fit their bodies in one color. She also altered my moms dresses for my wedding, who were very detailed. Everything came out perfect, every seam, every cut, the length, the fit. I’ve seen her turn broken down wedding dresses into breathtaking couture gowns! Her talent is like none other I’ve seen and I worked in fashion for a long time. I mean everything she does is incredible. She will forever have a customer and a friend in me! I love her 💕

I’m so glad I found Hilda! I love thrift shopping, but it’s really rare you find a piece that fits 100% the way you want it. I’ve brought a number of different/unique pieces of clothing to her (she does more than just dresses!) that she has either completely reworked, or altered to make it fit perfectly. Most recently I brought her a one of a kind vintage dress that was heavily beaded, other seamstresses said they were not able to help me alter it due to the heavy beading. Not Hilda! She took on the challenge and made the dress fitted to my shape. I’m so excited to wear it to a wedding in November. I couldn’t recommend Hilda enough, she is so creative!

Hilda took her time to understand how I wanted the alterations done and did an amazing job. She set expectations on when she would be done and provided a short turnaround. The value you get from her is unmatched compare to many seamstress I’ve been to. I would highly recommend her!
