  We bought our home this past summer and we wanted to install an alarm system but were already feeling overwhelmed as first time home owners. We called a few places based on various recommendations and Knight Security stood out from the start. Joseph Ruiz has been very responsive and consultative from the first call forward and went above and beyond to make sure we had the right solution for our needs/budget. He's even followed up several times to ask if we needed further assistance or training on the system. We've had a great experience with Knight Security and highly recommend them!

  Excellent company to deal with. Joe Ruiz is polite, thorough and professional. Technicians showed up on time, worked around the staff and customers and overall did an excellent job.

  The consultation with Joe was great and we established quickly what the alarm and video system will look like, units, locations, etc.. Joe was very strategic with what and how many monitors and cameras are needed to get the job done Then we refined a few of the items, for example combo fire/smoke/CO units over email afterwards. On alarm installation day Phil showed up exactly on time and worked expeditiously and very clean (he also removed all the old fire alarms). Phil was super patient when the Verizon FIOS team needed more time to get the WiFi signal going (since we had just moved into the house, I had scheduled them for the same morning to establish internet and WiFi) and by the time Phil left we had tested everything and alarm system war good to go. For the video install we had a pre-walkthrough with Pete a couple of days before the actual installation. He inspected the inside and outside of the house and came up with different strategies to set up outside video cameras on 100-year old house without installing any conduit inside or outside. On installation day Pete, Phil and Alex showed up on time and worked very clean and with lots of ideas and they ended up managing to install multiple outside cameras on house with only a few small holes in our inside drywall/stucco to get all the POE cables distributed from the top third floor all the way around the house on level of second and first floor. They were able to get the entire job done in less than a day, although we had planned for one and a half day, since it is a very old house, with lots of stucco and challenging set up. I will highly recommend this team for both smoke/fire, alarm and video. They really know what they are doing and you will get quality service and install.
