  I have been attending classes with Anya for the last few weeks, and as a beginner, with absolutely no yoga experience, I can't say enough about the attention that Anya gives to her students, whether in person or online. Not only is she a yoga teacher, she knows the human body! Most instructors don't even know which body part is which :) She makes sure you are not in any discomfort, also ensures you are in the correct posture, and if you cannot, adjusts accordingly. An absolute professional! I can't thank her enough for making my entrance into yoga very welcoming.

  Bright and beautiful yoga studio in Ossining. Anya is an experienced teacher that offers a few different types of group classes, as well as private sessions. Highly recommend!

  Anya is a fantastic yoga teacher both in person and virtually! I have taken yoga classes with Anya on and off for the past 7 years. I appreciate how her yoga teaching style and my yoga practice have evolved and aligned over time. Some of her recent classes are some of my favorites I have taken yet! I take her classes virtually and she has a great set-up that makes it easy for me to see what is going on, when I need a visual cue. Her knowledge of anatomy and how the body is connected is vast and she incorporates that into her classes in an understandable and accessible way. I enjoy how she gives the time to explore how movements, big and small, feel in my body. She is also incredibly aware and attentive to her students and is quick to offer modifications if needed.

  I am fairly new to yoga, but I've been taking classes with Anya at recenter space since summer of 2021. It is one of the highlights of my week. Anya has built such a peaceful space, but one that fosters both growth and relaxation. I look forward to going to yoga and I feel better throughout the week because of it. I was nervous to start because of my inexperience, but Anya makes people of all levels feel welcome. We were doing backbends last week, and with a slight assist from Anya, I did it! The sense of accomplishment after each class is rewarding, but more than that, my body feels better, my mind feels clearer. I think I'm a better parent and partner because of the skills I'm learning and the time I'm taking for myself at recenter space.

  I've been taking Anya's online yoga classes for a few weeks now and I absolutely love them. They do a great job explaining things out loud & showing them through multiple camera angles. Yoga is a hard thing to do online but Anya really makes it work, and I'd definitely recommend checking out the class online if you're far away or in person if you're local!
