Fabulous place to hike with my dog
Really get the feel of getting back to nature and relaxing.
Been hiking here for 35+ years. Beautiful!
Great nature hiking trails. You must not miss the northeastern natives Flower Island. To visit the Flower Island, you must call in advance. Otherwise just visit.
Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes... and be ready to enjoy nature.
A calendar full of activities for children and adults.
Please Note: Parking is no longer free on the weekends.
Beautiful private nature conservation area. The trails are well marked and maintained. Many times the only reminders that you are in Westchester are the power lines that unfortunately cross the lake.
I have been going here for almost 40 years. It's a great place to learn about the local natural environment. Well suited for families or anyone looking to hike and get in touch with the outdoors.
Only 4 stars since they started charging 5 dollars for parking last summer. I would visit more frequently without the added parking charge. Would rather let the kids make monetary donations with the coin funnel and gift shop purchases than handing over cash to park for 60-90 minutes, but everything changes.
