(September 19, 2022, 12:13 pm)Visited the old “Tiki Bar” and noticed a name change. Figured I’d try some food and see if it got better. It did! Pictured are the lime/cilantro wings, cheeseburger accompanied by an aperol spritz and jalapeño margarita. Everything was great. Food came out super fast. Server was really friendly and the wait for a table wasn’t long. Visited on a Friday night around 7 and saw the bar fill up while we ate. Missed the firework show because we entered Playland on the hunt for funnel cake which they had! Give Charley’s a visit when in the area. Great food, ambiance and fast service!

Most of the items on the menu are fried food and we had fried shrimp and wings. It was good although nothing super special. Slightly pricy but good portion.
Drinks were the same. -

(June 27, 2022, 9:16 am)Our waiter who delightfully allowed us to call him Mr. A was amazing. We were seated quickly on Sunday afternoon and were able to enjoy our meal in the wonder summer weather. The portions here are pretty generous (thank goodness, we were starving) and the fries were fresh and crispy. Everything we ordered was delicious. This is a beautiful family and pet friendly establishment

(August 20, 2021, 4:44 pm)Fantastic service and the best lobster roll anywhere! Also delicious desserts. We boated in and were picked up by Charlie and brought to an outside table with beautiful views of the harbor. Rye Playland is on the same property and you can hear people enjoying the rides next door. Dining inside or out, with a large Tiki Bar outside.

So sad what's become of this Rye landmark since new ownership took over recently. Shame on Westchester Co. elected officials for caring more about making a quick buck vs. leasing to a proven qualified entity who would serve local residents well.
