My infant son’s Doctor is Amishi Shah, & she is fantastic! My son’s first pediatrician was horrific so Dr Shah brings me a sense of relief. She caught an issue with a flat spot on his head and recommended physical therapy for his weak neck & a cranial helmet. The neurologist she works with suggested we wait until he was 6 months old to start treatment but she gave me all the information needed and told me to go ahead and get another opinion from Westchester County’s Early Intervention Program. I appreciate her so much. He’s 7 months old and treatment ended when he was 5 months old (after only 8 weeks of treatment), the clinician said had we waited until he was 6 months old, he would have to wear a helmet for over 6 months! & his physical therapist is graduating him out of the program as her work has actually made him ADVANCED for his age. This is all thanks to Dr Shah & her professionalism. & I call her ALL the time, I’m that mom, & she always returns my calls and answers all my questions in their entirety. Never rushes our visits. I’ve even called at 2 am (a couple of times) to ask how much Motrin to give my son for a fever, and an RN or Doctor-on-call returned my calls quickly. I think it’s a great pediatric group, but I especially love our Dr Shah!
