(October 4, 2018, 5:21 pm)Great National Park to visit with your family and to hang out with others. Having Thanksgiving Dinner I saw once in a covered up dinning area next to a Fire Pit indoors. Great Barbequing areas all around the park! Nice place to come to and be out of the Big City Area! Good dog walking area. You'll go up and down steep well paved Hills here. That have Gorgeous well Wooded Sections of the park. All off of a large Reservoir that's good for Rowing and Fishing if anyone's up for that to do on their own as a Daily Personal Adventure!!????

The NY SUBOA Annual Family Picnic is August 22, 2009 at FDR Park from 8 a.m. until dusk. It's free fun for SUBOA members and their families. There is always plenty of food and refreshments, competitive card games and fun for the whole family including a swimming pool.
