We had a lot of work to do with veneers and he did deliver on that perfect magazine cover smile. Life changing! Aside from this big transformation, the entire family sees him for routine visits and nobody is dragging their feet to go to the dentist. They explained to us prior to the appointment what would be covered by our insurance and what wouldn’t be (not many doctors do that, you usually just get a surprise bill in the mail). Everyone there was very professional, and the doctor knew exactly what she was talking about. She had an answer to every question I had for her, and her answers were so specific and made sense. “I have seen plenty of dentists in my lifetime and Dr. Platt is by far the best. I ‘ve seen him for over 15 years. When he takes X-rays he talks you through them and explains what type of work you need to get done, and whether you could post pone it or not. I have gone years without getting anything but a regular cleaning done, this is how I know that, not only is he an excellent dentist, but he’s an honest one. While some dentists may drill random holes in your teeth just to charge for fillings, Dr. Platt only does necessary work. To top it all off, he’s very pleasant and really funny. Once I said he reminded me of Seth Rogan, and he said: “That’s just an idiot who got lucky making lots of money doing something he enjoys” I said “Exactly, like you!” His reply was “I don’t make THAT much money!””
