When I came in in May I had very limited range of motion in the shoulder with a lot of pain. After 3 months of therapy, most of the range is back with limited discomfort. “Almost TEN YEARS ago I went to my first NYC Adventure Boot Camp. We do different things every day. We don’t go from machine to machine. And if you have a knee problem, are recuperating from surgery, or are recovering from broken vertebrae (those have been my personal problems), that’s ok. I love the way Stacy customizes the exercises for me. Strength, balance and flexibility are what I’m getting from Boot Camp. Oh - the other campers? They are inspirational. “1year and 11 months ago I had to make the hardest decision of my life about putting my mom in a nursing home. I chose Cedar Manor. My mom was 91 with late stage Alzheimer's. The location was perfect and although the place can use a facelift, the care was wonderful. Theresa at the front desk was lovely, Eva, Lilly, Rodica, Marilyn, Irina, Angela, Janet, Lynne, Diana, Ebony, Arlene, Hillary, Faye, Anne, Clementina, Leona, basically the South wing staff was great (I apologize if I forgot anyone). They work so hard and truly cared for my Mom. The PT staff was great too. Is it Disney Land...NO its a Nursing home, and with the shortage of nurses and aids at times it may have appeared to be chaotic but I never felt my Mom was neglected. My Mom was always dressed and cleaned and up and included in activities. Even in the last week of her life they had her dressed and clean everyday and changed into a night gown at bed time. As her disease progressed and the visits became more stressful the staff supported me as well with reassurance and comfort. When a loved one goes into a nursing home if a family member visits often they can help lessen that chaos. I visited my Mom almost everyday even if sometimes it might have only been for 30 min. I came to know the staff and the other residents as well. When my Mom was accepted into Hospice care I could have moved her into a Hospice facility yet I chose to have her stay in Cedar Manor because of the care and attention to her needs. To the staff at Cedar Manor....Thank You and God Bless.”

“I visited Dr. Ro’s office for annual physical checkup, and I made an appointment over the phone. I was please to speak with the staff who knew the open time for me to get a schedule. Office was clean and neat, staff was kind and professional. After signing in within couple of minute I had meeting with Dr. Ro, who was kind, good listener and able to explain my condition, and explain physical exam process. After the meeting, I was escorted by staff and did physical. It was 4 exams, and every exam was explained well by staff, whole thing took about 1hr. This was my first time and this was actually fun for me. After the physical, they took my blood (I HATE needle, but this was quickly done), and urine. I took little rest in waiting area, and had a meeting with Dr. Ro regarding the result of physical. He spoke in gentle manner and soft, I felt good. I highly recommend Dr. Ro, and I will be back.”
