“Cannot say enough great things about Barbara and the staff of Pooh and Friends. They create a safe, caring environment for kids! My twins started there when they were 3 once I moved back to NYC and have been so well looked after. Staff takes time to work with them in groups and individually, and Barbara (rightfully) spotted that they would need Speech Therapy and helped me find a great program nearby. The genuine care, strong curriculum and attention to literacy has made this a great day care AND strong preschool for my (now 4 year old) twins. Highly recommend!”

“To be Honest, The food can be not all that great. but the staff is very nice and straight forward and very supportive. i am a current student of the school and others think it is a bad school for bad children but no it is more than that, yes some children who go there do have some issues and have had a not so good past for why they are there but the staff will be concerned of your child's peformance”

“Camp Mohawk is exceptional! It has provided an amazing experience for our daughter! She has learned to take risks and try new things in a supportive setting. The adult:child ratio particularly in the swim program is really low which allows your child to have a personalized experience. There are so many activities that she is never bored and really excited to go to camp each and every day. We have recommended this camp to all of our friends and family members. They do a great job of taking feedback and improving the program, communication and camp features so that every year feels better than the previous year. There are frequent events, mailings and emails throughout the year to help you stay connected to the Mohawk camp family. My daughter has made lasting friendships. The enthusiasm and heart is contagious! You will ❤️this place and so will your kids.”

“I took a class with my daughter in the spring. The class went very well, the school is very laid back & focuses on the kids having fun. You can tell they like what they do, and it translates into the kids liking it too. This approach worked well for my daughter and kept her went to go back. Fun aside, she's learned a lot - their approach works for instruction quite well. Will definitely be going back.”

“Painted by Robert Havell Jr.(1793-1878) prolific painter of wildlife studies, his landscape work is nearly entirely of the Hudson River and Valley. These works generally showed mankind at home in the bounteous land, with fair skies portending an abundant future. In this view the River is busy with traffic, for business and pleasure, and the shaft of sunlight is a sure sign of Providence.”

“we relocated to Westchester from the city and at the same time decided to change our child care from having a full-time nanny to using full-time daycare. We had toured several facilities in the area but felt most at home with Bright Horizons at Bellefair. The small community feel was the perfect transition for our daughter and for us as parents. Christina as director was a gigantic part of our decision - we trust her decisions and her style and have not been disappointed. That fit has been key. It is nerve-wracking to find reliable care that you can also rest easy with while being working parents. If there is ever any concern with our daughter's well-being, we get a phone all. We can call whenever we want if we want to check-in. The app has also been fabulous - pictures and updates throughout the day. We are so grateful we are planning to sign up baby #2 after he or she arrives this spring. Bellefair has been wonderful for us and we highly recommend them!!”
