“This comment box isn't big enough to capture all the praise I have for Odie and Irena Faria. We are beyond THRILLED, ELATED, GRATEFUL, AND OVER-THE-MOON about the work that they did for us and our home. It’s AMAZING. We did a 3-story addition on the back of our Tudor home (originally built in 1929). We met with 7 contractors and we were so happy to have picked Odie and Design & Remodeling Specialists. Odie made every element of our project so much better. He made it look better than we ever thought was possible. It was a big job with redoing 3 bathrooms, a full gut job on the kitchen and a complete demolition of our basement. Given that it was an old house, we ran into some unforeseen issues with cracked sewer pipes and termite eaten structural beams. I'm so very happy that Odie was helping us and made it all work at a reasonable price. We also did a whole new deck, stone patio, spiral staircase and custom bookshelves. Irena was phenomenal with her direction and advice about bathrooms and our kitchen. She has a wonderful design aesthetic and she got a sense of what we liked and had wonderful options for us. We are so very happy with how everything turned out and looks. Project started in May/June 2017 and lasted about 10 months. Given the three-story addition onto the back of an old house, there were some structural elements that required care and time (i.e. steel structural beams). Odie handled everything so expertly. He managed my expectations and was a wonderful partner with the entire project. I have the highest praise possible for Odie and Irena. Besides being absolutely delightful, lovely people, they are fantastic experts and professionals. Thank you so very much Odie & Irena and Design & Remodeling Specialists. “Came in and bought a 7 inch chocolate mousse cake for my mother's birthday. I asked them to write "Happy birthday, Mom!" on it and they went the extra mile on putting cute dots in between the chocolate mousse swirls of the cake. It looked so adorable! The woman who helped me was also very patient as I was trying to decide and directed me to a handout with all of their cake flavors. When my boyfriend bought a cup of coffee, she was very kind to point out where he could add his cream and sugar as they have a little set up for that. He also bought elephant ears, a cookie, and a croissant -- all of which were AMAZING. The cake however? Even better! I'm having a piece right now as we speak and it's still moist. So amazing. I couldn't have asked for more.”
