We hiked the public trails through the forest, very shady, no intense hills, super buggy the whole time. Highly recommend some sort of bug repellent if you want a peaceful walk. Clean, no litter to be seen anywhere. “Take nothing, Leave nothing” The Fairy houses were my favorite part!
So incredibly peaceful here. The hike was easy + . There were spots of incline and decline. The very best marked trail i have been on. Some really unique areas: woods, meadows, ponds, apple trees, boardwalks. Just a perfect day.
This place is SPECTACULAR! So many different trails for all levels. They have a wheelchair accessible trail. Highly recommend.
It was my 3rd hike in the WNY Hiking Challenge. Hike was fine, lots of dead trees on the ground. I thought the fairy garden was cute and the fact that you could build a frog home.
This place is beautiful. The insect "hotel" is amazing. It's a beautiful meadow full of milkweed, so naturally there is are a lot of beautiful butterflies. My only complaint would be the abundance of deerflies but hey it's a nature park centered around swamp lands, so thats to be expected. Fairy lane is adorable, my 3 year old loved it. I only spent a couple hours here, because it was a hot humid day, but we could have easily stayed for more. Definitely recommend!
