“Be friendly and you will get your car quickly. This place is generally run by nice people. Just be verbal with the guy in the front and tell them what you want. We booked our car about a month ahead but had to pick up early. They are fine with that since our car was ready for pickup about 3 hours ahead anyway. This place can be a bit busy in the morning as most local people pick up their car for their day work. They rent out mostly larger van and trucks but very limited in stock. By 9am, their parking garage is emptied out but then it was a Friday. Took about 15 minutes to drive out from the place after the paperwork, I discover there are a lot of garbage in the back. Please check. Be warned!! Check for garbage in the car you pick up. Check the gas meter. Mine car was half empty and I took a picture. They didn't really check on my return anyway and no additional fuze. I found a broken baby sit in the backseat. Price is about the cheapest you can get in NYC.”

“In general I had a good experience. I rented a premium sedan and the car they brought me had an alert on it about a battery. It wouldn't go away which was annoying during my trip because it wouldn't go away and it blocked part of the dash. Other than that the car drove great and it was brand new. “A Dodge Journey is an SUV I suppose, but totally looked like a minivan (aka soccer mom). I didn't like the vehicle but had no other choices. Wishing there was more selection. I had over 2000 miles to drive and Alamo was very helpful, must wasn't happy from the start. They had the best price but sure wish there was a reward system. Without one, loyalty isn't an option. When I returned the car I got charged nearly 4000 instead of 900. Luckily my card company flagged it as fraud. In the end, someone got it right. Nice people to work with”

“PROS: Friendly staff, Excellent cars, Great and competitive rates. CONS: Local residents get charged additionally $300 (hold fee) on credit card. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FLUID GAUGES BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Last experience I received a car with no windshield washer fluid and it was just after the first snow storm of 2021 in NYC. Almost crashed on the Belt parkway...brought car back. Zane the agent apologized and immediately switched cars and I was on my way.”

“This was not our first experience with Maceroni's and once again, we were not disappointed. No matter what kind of arrangements we requested, they were able to accommodate us with no problem. Most of my conversations were with Brad, and he could not have been more patient or helpful, plus he made himself available according to our needs. Whatever I neglected to think of, he remembered; there was not one base that was not covered. It was a very difficult time for our family, and their kindness and compassion made us feel very comfortable and secure. As much as we hope that we do not need the services of a funeral home again in the near future, if we did we would go back to Maceroni's.”

“Recently I rented an SUV from Enterprise. I would have given Enterprise a five star rating except they failed to pick me up in the morning. A neighbor drove me to the agency. However, Abby at the agency saved the day with her friendly smile and to assuage my crankiness immediately gave me a vehicle upgrade. A few minutes passed and she asked me if I could wait another five minutes so she could give me a second upgrade. Of course, I had the extra five minutes. Upon return from my trip, Abby with her friendly smile was there to greet me and ask me how my driving experience had been. The manager of the agency greeted me as well and wanted to know how the agencies service had been. I informed him of the pick-up snafu which he vowed to correct. A nice gentlemen drove me home. All in all, I found the staff friendly willing to correct the morning mistake which I greatly appreciated. My experience with Enterprise was quite favorable despite the glitch, and I will use them again in the future.”

“The car rented was one of very good quality. The employees were very professional. My husband is the one who made the reservations since he is the Enterprise Plus member. He made the reservation online about a week and a half before the date we would be leaving for vacation. It was a four day rental and was quoted an amount that seemed very acceptable. The only reason I didn't give Enterprise 5 stars is because upon returning the auto at the end of our vacation Enterprise added almost $100 to the cost stating it was for sales tax and Car rental tax. Seems to me like a lot of taxes. It was non-negotiable since they already had my credit card on file and was holding an extra $250 over the quoted price. All We got back was $160. Enterprise should already know the amount of taxes and should include them in the estimates so renters can plan ahead. I ended the wonderful vacation on a downer. Not pleased with Enterprise policy and amount of taxes.”
