“I contacted M&S about rebuilding an XR250R motor for me. Steve kindly explained that he was very busy with current projects and likely wouldn't be able to get to it anytime soon. Most shops currently are very busy, short handed, and not willing to work on anything older than 10 years or that they didn't sell in the first place. Also, after 45+ years, he can pretty much pick and choose what he wants to get involved with... my words not his... and his wheel house and passion is British bikes. I told him I understood... thanks anyway. Then he offered me an alternative, come in and use his shop, tools, and when Im in a jam... his expertise to do it myself at half the labor rate! Perfect! That's exactly what Ive wanted to do all along. Im getting more comfortable being my own mechanic, but at the time had not tried to split the cases on a bottom end for repairs. I welcomed the chance to learn from him. It turned out to not be a huge job, but I spent 6 hours over two nights in Steve's shop and he was very helpful and I enjoyed it very much. Im on the hunt for my next project already... hoping to make it British... and to spend some more time in Steve's shop.”

“Called and talked to Brennan about getting my transmission looked at after taking it to another mechanic to get it rebuild and then it still had a problem with a hard shift issue. When I was told I needed a new transfer case I took the truck to Performance transmission for a second option. I was glad i made this decision. Brennan and his team saved me over 1700 in unnecessary repairs and found and corrected the issue in the transmission that the other place did incorrectly. Cant recommend the service and help of this shop enough.”

“Great Stop but come early. It does have limited space and there are others using the space for repairs but hey, it's their lot to use as they see fit. I stop here all the time when my schedule and timing allow. It does tend to get full by 5pm so plan ahead. Great access to Historic Albany. I walk into downtown all the time for exercise and a some good food. Have never been hassled here one bit and the staff is professional & courteous. My two cents, enjoy!”
