“I just saw Dr. Murphy yesterday as a new patient. She was so kind and insightful. I feel she listens well and I can trust her (ive had diabetes for 11 years now). However, before I saw Dr. Murphy, the one nurse, Patty(I think that was her name?), was very rude to me. I switched doctors because my previous endo was awful and didn’t help me through my diabetes like I would’ve liked. So I was very happy to hear good reviews about Dr. Murphy and got an appointment, but the nurse Patty(?), scolded me for not “doing more” when I just explained to her that my previous endo was not helpful at all so I’m sorry if I’m ignorant to managing my diabetes. She belittled me and made me so upset, I cried in my car. I felt very uncomfortable around her. There’s a way that you talk to kindly people that she doesn’t have that ability. However, Dr. Murphy brought certain things to my attention and helped me with my questions and concerns. The receptionists and the other nurse, Rachel, were super nice to me. Dr. Murphy gets 5 stars!! But because of the one nurse, I had to take a star away. (Sorry that’s childish but she literally made me cry!!)”
