I called patient engagement a little after 11am, I was previously incorrectly told 3 weeks ago that it my referral was received although it wasn't. My primary care has a history of not sending referrals. I wish I wasn't so self involved at the time to get the man's name that helped me so I could thank him. He stayed on the phone with me and gave me every step I needed to take, I was crying and I could tell he was making sure I understood what he told me before moving on to tell me the next step, and he reassured me that my problem would be resolved. I can't say thank you to this angel enough. I know I haven't seen any of the Neuro providers yet, but with an extremely frustrating healthcare system, if I can find a kind and attentive soul that is giving that level of customer service, to me that is a 5 star review.”
