Being an older gay male, these transitions are even harder for me. When I told him about my husband, he stopped, put his hand on my shoulder & said how happy he was for us that we could marry now and how lucky we are to have each other as a family. It was genuine.. knew he entirely meant it. Put me immediately at ease. If GLBT, see him! Even though he’s not one of us, he believes in us without a doubt. “The class was great and the staff was extremely helpful. When I told the teacher that I was new, she went out of her way to make sure that I felt comfortable and asked me if I had any questions afterwards. It made me feel at home, as if I had been exercising there for awhile, even though it was my first visit. The gentleman who helped me was a nice chap. Found the screw plugged the tire and checked and filled the other tires he was done in less than fifteen minutes. $10.00 for the plug and $5.00 for him and I was on my way.”

“My family and I had the fried chicken, ribs, collard greens, and candied yams. The food and flavors were amazing. The fried chicken was seasoned and fried perfectly. The meat from the ribs fell off the bone and the sauce was not overpowering. The collard greens were out of this world! The candied yams were delicious as well. We wished the cornbread serving size was bigger because we wanted more! Definitely worth it :)”
