“I have been a teacher here for 9 years. They say do something you love and you will never work a day in your life. Truth is this is my second home and I spend anywhere from 35-40 hours monthly in this studio. I have worked at other studios and to be completely honest this is family. Whether you are staff, recreational or company students this is a feel good place. A place to feel safe and leave with a smile on your face. I maybe biases but teaching here is truly where I feel at home. Last year my family went through what was the worst year yet. My 3 year old nephew was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer the night of my wedding, and my father past later in that year. Rise dance studio put together a toy drive for my nephew for Christmas, and when my father passed staff, parents, and students attended his wake. I am forever grateful to Val and all of Rise Dance Studios. Can’t say Id get that love and support anywhere else. Thank you rise for giving me this outlet. Miss Diana.”
