“I’m honestly shocked to read the poor reviews. We had a wonderful experience. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. (Aside from one negative experience with a nurse I will post about at the end.) We didn’t wait at all. The doctor and anesthesiologist were kind and patient and treated us with dignity. The staff were sweet and kind as well. It is a very clean facility. We called to say we had traffic and would be a bit late and it was not an issue. We got called back within 10 minutes of arriving. Beware to leave time for parking, but that isn’t the office’s fault. The whole experience was fabulous from start to finish! Amanda, Charlene, and Wendy are professional and respectful and made the experience relaxing. **One caveat - Margo was a nurse assigned to us and her behavior was terrible. She was verbally aggressive and talked over us. She created a very anxious scene for us before going in for the procedure. She talked about off topic things and was very rude and accusatory. Be cautious if you get her assigned to your case. We’re waiting for a call back to discuss this with a manager. **”

The color combination of red, white and black is masculine and creates a man cave hangout you don’t want to leave. Every barber is friendly makes you feel comfortable. They even have a 3 selection candy machine for only 25 cents. Great for kids.”

“I broke my ankle in late June 2022 Skydiving, and to be frank, even Dr. Lai said is was one of worst high impact fractures he had seen. I had dislocated as well as "cleanly" fractured my tibia and fibula right above my ankle joint. It's been a long recovery process but I don't think I would have been anywhere near as lucky, or have the mobility I do today if it wasn't for the expertise of Dr. Lai. I just received my clean bill of health from him yesterday and am excited to get back to more physically demanding activities. [and yes, I do plan on skydiving again :-) ]”

“Under the new management of Michelle Castillo, Golden Promises continues to maintain a hands-on, personal touch to provide caring, responsible help for my 90 year old, visually-impaired mother. Before anyone was chosen to begin home care, Michelle or Peter Serrano, office manager, provided an at-home visit with the potential caregiver, client and me. Questions, expectations, and concerns were discussed before care began (the loving, responsible care provided by the current caregivers: Pam, Regina, Eileen and Jennifer) is a tremendous relief to me knowing that my mom's needs are being addressed (shopping, exercise, grooming, "entertainment," medication, cleaning, etc.) ...Although my dad does not want/need any of this care, he is included if a meal is being heated/prepared or a reminder to take medication after breakfast is given by the caregiver. If someone is not working out, Michelle is quick to set up another interview with a replacement. During this unusually cold, snowy winter, Peter has been on top of all weather related issues and always seems to be available regardless of the time I might call with a question. Any change in schedule, Peter calls me to keep me informed. It is difficult to keep aging parents in their own home, but with companies like Golden Promises Home Care, it definitely makes the possibility a reality. Thank you for being there!”
