The pail I purchased is made of very heavy galvanized steel with a strong bail handle attached to the top rim for easy access. It is "a beauty" that should last for decades. (Our old bucket rusted out on the bottom after 35 years) The packaging was very protective of the pail. It arrived earlier than expected with no dents or scratches.
