“While some people say libraries are obsolete, I disagree. You'll never get the one on one rapport or support a library offers from an online source. It's the staff that truly makes the library more valuable. I feel so strongly about my library that I'm now conducting a class.”

“I love libraries and since I'm in a wheelchair, it's nice to be able to go in the front door of a library like a normal person instead of having to get someone's attention to let you in a way that's rarely used like the Arcade Library. Here, I can hit the automatic door button and go right in.”

“This is a really wonderful place to find some quiet time and cozy up with a good book. There are lots of clean and comfortable spaces to read, work, or use the computer. The library has quite an extensive book selection and I am impressed by their array of DVDs, CDs, and even video games! They are committed to having something for everyone and it proves to be a fantastic asset to our community in Mount Kisco.”

“It is almost perfect. The only problem for me is noise. In my opinion, a library must be in perfect silence. But this one is not. Staff talks quite loudly. But they are friendly and the place is really good overall.”

“This is a beautiful building. Staff is very kind and it is clean and quite. The children's section has a vast selection toys for the kids to play with as well as pictures to color. I noticed four or six computers upstairs for studying. Not sure about the first floor, though. Overall, great time here picking out a few books to read to my little one.”

“I feel bad that I've lived a walk away and not visited until today! The library is LOVELY! The staff is kind, thoughtful, intuitive, and very knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to returning after the holidays to get library cards for the whole family. Today I just needed to print a return label and they provided me with a guest pass and wouldn't charge me for my 1st 3 pages. (I donated a dollar anyway) The visitors of the library are all my neighbors and community and it's like the Cheers of local libraries!”

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. I went in with my husband to pick something up that he had ordered and I was thinking we would just be in and out, but then I got sucked into the library goodness. I enjoy that it isn’t a very large library. I ended up checking out two books that will be very helpful in future parenting and homeschooling. I’m looking forward to spending more time at this library over the years. It is also clean and organized. Again, the staff is very good, caring and kind.”

“I love finding a quiet library to get work done. This location is a part of Gerry Park (which is beautiful). There is a pretty decent collection of books on the shelves, a large seating area, computers (desktops) available by the hour and private rooms you can book for events. Staff were friendly and warm and everyone respected the space by being quiet. I dropped in around 10a on a weekday when it tends to be quieter. So worth the stroll before or after your visit. The inside matches the outside with thoughtful public seating areas. I love that there’s a bike rack and lots of parking. I’m excited to come back!”

“This is my neighborhood library and always quiet and orderly, clean, cool in Summer and cozy in the winter. Before Covid I would be there sometimes 5 days a week. Happy to have a library where I can find books, magazines and DVD's that I want for free!!”
