“Nice, affordable, good food; Pupusas are particularly decent. If i wasn’t with a Spanish speaker I would have found it hard to order. I felt like I should knock a star off for this reason but I really like the place and recommend the food, and the only reason I haven’t is because you get that authentic feel from the experience.”

“This year Covid reduced my usual Thanksgiving get together with friends at the Eagle House to solo pickup at 773North. Wow!! What a super pleasant surprise!! The meal was marvelous with the best stuffing I've had in years. It was just like the sausage stuffing Grandma made when I was a kid. Turkey veggies, and everything else was perfect. Later I tackled the surprisingly large piece of pumpkin pie that came with it. It couldn't have been any more delicious. And the crust was to die for - baked perfectly. Its hard to imagine pickup with reheat being anywhere near as good as this dinner was.”

“Incredible hole in the wall! The food is incredibly flavorful and filling. The hummus is some of the best in Brooklyn if not Manhattan in my opinion, especially with their warm pita. They serve $5 glasses of red and rosé wine, and the red is great (haven’t tried the rosé), especially given the super reasonable price! Super fun vibes with the dive bar next door. Don’t miss this hidden gem!”

“We ordered Christmas dinner from them in an effort to stay comfortable Christmas 2020 and to support local businesses. It was a fantastic decision- I’m posting the menu they had special for Christmas. It was so delicious and their staff had a great team effort going on to get the orders out. Indoor dining is still closed and it doesn’t have the real estate for outdoor dining. What ever you order, these guys in Williamsburg are sure to please!”

“My friend took me here and highly recommended "pickle pizza." Formerly of the class of "That sounds gross, not going to try it," I've been pleasantly surprised in the past, so I tend to not knock food or drink anymore until I try it. My friend and I ordered a full pickle pizza pie and a couple other slices. We didn't wait too long before we got the pie. I took a slice and tried it out; I was not disappointed! It may be sacrilegious putting pickle chips on a pizza, but since I eat pizza with pineapple, I'm not opposed to trying something different. I recommend trying it! In addition to other great flavors of pizza and a kind staff, Leon's also collects donations for Christmas toys for kids. This place is now on my radar.”

“Another great slice from Broadway Joe's. A delicious white slice with pepperoni and crispy dough. Everyone should know Broadway Joe's is one of the best slices in the Bronx. “Love the food. It has that authentic Caribbean flavor (well seasoned) and not watered down in a bag. The price is up there ($$$) compared to other seafood boil spots in Brooklyn. The wait time is about 25 minutes. This is the time I would wait for properly prepared for. Folks this is not fast food. This is Jamaican seafood. I keep coming back back for more.”

“We decided to stop in this evening for a relaxing dinner. Two of us ordered the pork chop dinner with a baked potato and grilled zucchini and one ordered the Polish platter that included polish sausage, pierogi, kapusta and stuffed cabbage roll. The pork shop was about an 1 1/4” thick and was grilled perfectly...juicy and melted in your mouth. We agreed it was the best chop we ever had. The baked potato was done perfectly as were the veggies. All this was accompanied by a basket of warm bread. The service was outstanding....our server was very attentive but not overly so. All in all, we agreed this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! If you haven’t tried this place, you owe it to yourself to do so. You won’t be disappointed.”

“So this location knows me but TWICE in as many years, they've paid for my breakfast when my bank card wouldn't go through. I love the folks that work at this location and am so grateful to have them feeding us "essential" workers. I've gotta figure out a better way of celebrating them than this lame little review.”

“I love this laundry mat! It’s the best in my vicinity, and I’ve tried many and lived on my block for 10+ years. It’s very clean and the prices are fair. They don’t require you to purchase a card to do the laundry yourself, and they never close early. The staff is extremely friendly, always helping when they can, offering up a variety of washing and drying tips and replacing/exchanging quarters when necessary. Once I was even given help pretreating my laundry. When the shutdown first happened in March 2020, they stayed open with clearly advertised reduced hours when other laundry mats closed completely. It was a blessing that we could still do our laundry. The company and people in the community donated wrapped food for customers at that time as well. Quite a community gem, thank you Ruth and staff!”
