Being born and raised on Staten Island it's very hard to find really good Caribbean food. I was craving Caribbean food the other day and I just moved to this area in October so I didn't know where to go. I Google this place to see if it was open yet and decided to take a walk and I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas, veggies on the side. I have not had oxtails this good in so long. I don't even eat a lot of food at one time. I planned to eat half of my plate for lunch and the other half for dinner. By the time I looked up I ate all of the oxtails and most of the plate, that's how good it was. Even the atmosphere and the woman behind the bar that takes your order is so friendly they make me want to come back. I give five stars and I recommend this place to anyone! Try it! You will not be disappointed.”

“Went for weekday lunch. Plenty of table availability, looked very clean, waitress was extremely sweet and attentive. Meal arrived in a timely manner. Flavor was amazing!! Real authentic cooking. Took left overs to go and added a slice of Dominican cake which I was to full to even taste, but you can't go to a Dominican place and not take home some cake! Any of their soups will heal you ailments and your soul :-)”

“I love bamboo shoots, and believe it or not, that's why I chose to try this place. I spotted a photo someone posted with the shoots in it. I ordered the rice cakes with mustard greens (and bamboo shoots), which is B3 on the menu. and crab soup dumplings. the soup dumplings were really good and not expensive. the whole meal was $10 and really filling and delicious. It came out quickly. This is stall #12 in the NY food court.”
