We need a broad menu to suit the tastes of our picky family including a foodie, a vegetarian, and a lactose intolerant, health-focused honoree. Everything went very well; our party of 4 enjoyed a lovely evening. The truffle popcorn appetizer was a surprise hit, flavorful and light. We also enjoyed the brussels sprout appetizer. Our entrees included a tasty version of lobster paella, seared salmon, sesame encrusted tuna, and a harvest bowl with salmon added. All the dishes were well prepared and nicely plated. We chose not to have dessert, but the options looked tempting. We expect to put Vela Kitchen into our restaurant rotation.”

The team was very kind and polite, the menu had great selection, and the happy hour drink menu was a treat! I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and it was some of the best Pad Thai I ever had! They were very accommodating towards my request for a milder spice level. I got the Thai Breeze Cocktail and it was delicious! The ambiance was very chill and the music choice was fantastic. “Absolutely had one of the best meals in a long time. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, our courses came out on great timing and perfectly cooked. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner/executive chef who was so pleasant and gave us phenomenal recommendations. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend. We had a potato leak soup, and creamed tomato soups. For our entrees we had the french onion chicken schnitzel and a pork stroganoff. Then dessert was a strawberry shortcake and carrot cake. What I didn’t like : My waitress was trying to up sell. For example, suggestions of extra shot in my drink. I am willing spend money regardless. Please don’t persuade me. There was no heat in the restaurant. I had to keep my sweater and coat on while enjoying my dinner. Overall , I do recommend to bring money and expect to spend it. It is worth it though. Beginning with the appetizers, to the main dish, then for dessert, your expectations will be exceeded. Every dish is hand crafted and made to order with excellence. It’s often hard to find a restaurant that excels at all aspects of dining out. Some restaurants have great food but slow service, or the other way around. The Villa far supersedes our expectations and for sure you will feel the same way.”

“My favorite empanada was the Americana. I can’t wait to go back and buy more. I bought chicken, beef and sweet plantain with cheese as well. I also tried the mango smoothie and the frozen piña colada. If I were to choose one, I would order the frozen piña colada again. I tried all three sauces and those are really good too. What’s cool about the empanadas is that they are marked with its flavor. So if you bought chicken, it would say (PC) for plain chicken on the side of empanada or (B) for ground beef. Don’t miss out on the Americana, definitely add it to your order.”

“My husband and I came here for the first time for a date night. Craft actually has live performers every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We ordered the Craft Nachos and Buffalo Chicken Rolls for appetizers. Then for our entrees we split the Bay Burger and the Yard Bird Sandwich. All the food was good, but I have always been a fan of pumpkin beers! They do have flight options for their Tap beers (which was a big plus for us). They had great presentation for everything that was brought to our table and the staff was incredibly sweet. We will be making this a set date spot!”

“I live in North Jersey but discovered the waterfront of Peekskill on a motorcycle ride up through Bear Mountain. Since then I've been to the area countless times. I wanted to try Buns N Bourbon, as I usually go to Taco Dive Bar. To my surprise, BnB was gone!! In the same building, was a new place, BAJARITO!! From here you can build your own burrito, and/or get tacos from Taco Dive Bar. I ordered a burrito. Vegetarian...built my own. I have to say... It was probably the best looking and best tasting burrito I have ever had. This is not a paid advertising lol it's totally true. Smart sharp energetic bar staff, fast delicious food, great view, great scenery. I highly recommend you visit the region and hit each of the eateries and drinkeries. Safety protocols were observed. They were good but could have been better. The mozzarella stick were also ok. Would I go back? Yes but next time I’ll get the atomic or nuclear wings.”
