“They are close and convenient to my location and I have been using Goodyear where ever I am for years. They never steer me wrong and are usually reasonably priced. They only con about this location is that the manager Kurt I believe his name is always seems to be grumpy and complaining about his job. It doesn’t give the welcoming vibe when you walk in. If it wasn’t for the other staff especially Josh at the front desk who is always pleasant and for the good customer service he gives as well as the mechanic staff I probably wouldn’t come back. Generally a good experience. Based on this I’d recommend coming here.”

“I found A-1 Transmission Repair after searching online and drove my corvette there. The owner Jerry who by the way is a Corvette owner, was very accommodating and said I will fix it. I also had a bad fuel gauge sending unit, a leaky steering control valve, and a suspension badly in need of an overhaul. Jerry, his son and his mechanic Mike went to work right away and did an incredible job in repairing all of the issues with my Corvette. My Corvette rides like a new car again. I would highly recommend A-1 Transmission and Auto Repair on Sunrise Highway in Merrick.”
