“This was a VERY last minute plan so I was surprised to find a campsite with such a convenient location! There's a dollar general and a crosbys right there around the corner! My friends and I rented a cabin fir a weekend trip, and the location was beautiful, of course the cabin was smaller, but you are there to camp, not sit in a cabin, it was such a cute shack! Make sure you do bring sheets! We painted rocks, forgot them, near an open fire we started with our complimentary bag of fire starters! There is a pool and this week there will be a water heater! This community is very lively and children safe, with weekly activities to keep you stimulated and connected! We got an opportunity to play bingo in the most unique way possible, but you'll have to experience that yourself because I'm not going to tell you how. With that said, do visit!”

“As a kid from NYC, particularly the Bronx and moving outside of the city it had always been a challenge to find good pizza that compares to a Bronx slice, well everyone, this is it! This pizzeria has brought the Bronx slice to upper Westchester and I'll say I've found my new pizza shop. The pizza was cheesy, saucy and the dough/ crust cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, clean environment and hey it's even got the neighborhood I grew up in as its name, so yea I'm biased.”

Gluten & vegan options too. All stemming from proper techniques and seasoned well. Impressive is the volume of the menu made in house… pasta, breads, desserts, dry aged beef, etc. The front & rear staff are friendly and accommodating. The bar spirits seems to be growing in offerings as well as wine selections as the menu changes with the season and weekly specials. “If you are looking for a school that focuses on meeting your child where they need to be met, Mountain Laurel Waldorf School is that school. The teachers are fully-vested in your child's school experience. It's never about testing, it's about finding the fullest potential in each child in a compassionate, nonjudgmental way. The early childhood program at Mountain Laurel is amazing. I put my four children through this program -- starting with their parent-tot program -- and I was continually amazed at how much the teacher and teacher's assistant put into their work with the kids on a daily basis. The classrooms are beautiful, the commitment to surround the kids with only things that spark the imagination and the focus on outdoor play (they go outside almost every single day!) is truly a wonderful thing to observe. My kids come home every single day with bright eyes and bright smiles. It's a wonderful school with a dedicated staff in the heart of New Paltz. Great alternative to the public school system. Added bonus: they are extremely generous with financial aid so if you think you may be priced out of this school, you could be wrong!”

“Thought the home looks impressive on the outside, wait till you see what’s on the inside! I went into the tour not knowing what to expect, and it was truly a time capsule of Theodore Roosevelt’s life. There’s a lot of antiques from all over the world; the space really highlighted just how much of a free spirit and adventurer he truly was. Our tour guide was spectacular in weaving the story of Roosevelt’s life in such an interesting way. I had no idea that an inkwell could be made from the foot of an animal, or that Roosevelt valued living life to the fullest despite being told that he wouldn’t live past childhood. It’s a touching story, and being in the house really brings you back in time to the mindset and interests that Roosevelt had. He was sort of an erratic genius? I highly recommend this tour, and supporting the space by purchasing tickets online. 10/10 experience!”

He took the time to explain the procedures to me and answered all of my questions. My recovery was quick and I was impressed with the attention given to me during all of my follow up appointments. His staff is wonderful. They are very kind and make an effort to know their patients by first name. When I phoned to make my additional appointment I was asked how I heard of the practice (which was through a number of friends). She takes her time and checks with you along the way to see of there is anything you want addressed or tweaked before all is said n done. The salon is clean, organized and accommodating. Fees for services are beyond reasonable. The energy and ambiance, in general, are super chill. Love this place and highly recommend it for all your hairstylist needs.”
