“This photo lab is awesome. Staff was nice and professional. The pictures came back quickly and high quality. We were very impressed with how our Kodak disposable photos came out - they made even a cheap camera look great! Would recommend to anyone looking for photo services in the area.”

“We recently rented a cello from Rental Instruments for my daughter’s performance in NY. As we live in HK and would be difficult to bring our own cello and we also wanted to find a place that is conveniently picking up and dropping off the instruments as we won’t have a car during our stay in Manhattan and a place not too far from Mid-Town. I googled and found Rental Instruments. And had few emails exchange with them and the overall rental process is pretty straightforward and simple. When we got our first cello, my daughter didn’t quite like it and they were nice to allow us to swap and send over another cello. Return is easy by dropping off at a security desk at a residential apartment in NYC. I would recommend this place for anyone who would like to rent instruments while traveling to NYC. Their staff is professional and responsive and the quality and sound of their instruments are good.”

“I had the privilege to work with Kimberly, to get my water Culligan Water system. She was a good sales person not pushy, sales person. So I decided to go ahead to buy a Culligan water softener. We used to have Anderson water software but was not happy with their service in end. Chris installed my new Culligan service. He was excellent. Very friendly very nice very kind just like Kimberly was. I’m sure I’ll be happy with my new system thank you Chris and Kimberly.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed the food but the staff and appearance of the restaurant put us off a bit. We ordered quite a selection for lunch which turned out to be enough for dinner as well. Ordering online was easy enough and our meal was ready in a short amount of time. As mentioned above, it was the staff and restaurant that was a bit off. Our meal was packed in paper bags, plastic containers, and stuffed in a plastic bag. Based on all of that, I thought we would definitely be disappointed in our meal. However, the food was so good that it offset my initial impression. We ordered two (2) vegetable samosa as we were not sure how many came with each order; there were three per order for us. They were still warm, crispy, came with sauces, and had good flavor. Unlike some samosas I've had, these were completely filled with the potato and pea mixture. We shared the Aloo Chat which we thought was the best tasting dish with the mix of yogurt, tamarind, and mint sauce. Our soups were good but nothing fancy. We had the coconut soup which had quite a bit of fresh coconut but seemed light on the beshamel. The Mulligatawny soup was surprisingly a smooth bisque. We saved our entrees for dinner which were Chicken Dopayaza and Chicken Vindaloo. Both were good and flavorful with large chunks of tender chicken. I highly recommend the Dopayaza with its tangy tomato sauce. Don't let the appearance of the restaurant or the gruffness of the staff stop you from trying Jewel of India because their food is good!!”

“Gary Vacanti goes out of his way to help. When I had a small but substantial issue just prior to shelter-at-home orders, he came out after-hours to help us get power and WiFi back so my daughters could do school. He fixed the issue quickly and didn’t even worry about the bill. He is reliable, courteous, excellent at what he does and humane.”

“Lots of gaming tables for people needing a place to play. Great variety of games of all types, hobby accessories, models, books and whatnot. Not as many comics as the east greenbush store but a whole lot closer. Also, the crew is very patient and helpful when dealing with three generations of us. Great having them in the neighborhood!”
