“This has long been one of my favorite little parks in the city, a hidden gem to borrow the cliche. I discovered during my first of three jobs in the neighborhood and visits here during lunch got me through the challenges of each. My photos are of the construction of the waterfront trail and esplanade across the FDR that I'm anxiously awaiting. I suspect locals are not looking forward to it however, as it will reduce the park's isolation as a pocket park used mainly by locals.”

It was an incredible way to spend an hour or so completely alone and just go for the ride in between the ceremony and our dinner. Covid wedding planning is not easy; you really have to get creative but this was an amazing detail that made the whole day feel so special.
