Very kind people and i will be back
This CHURCH….We were invited repeatedly by a coworker of my husband. I needed a church home that was bible centered, cerebrally stimulating and lovingly inclusive with excellent role models for my 4 children. We finally attended a Sunday morning service.
We were absolutely astounded to find all of those attributes in a balanced, easily understood presentation of God’s love and principles by the pastor.
Dr. Morris, a “county boy” from the mountains of NC with a thirst for education resulting in both Masters and PhD is the pastor. Still, he is the most practical teacher of biblical challenges, encouraging us to learn and grow in our relationship both with God and Jesus, and our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Dr. Morris translates this into our modern daily life so you understand well how God’s word is our ultimate source for living.
We began attending regularly and were welcomed by the wonderful church family, acceptabling of the responsibilities to support, pray for and love each other as God’s word commands us. I have seen repeatedly how they graciously welcome anyone.
I am so thankful for a church, pastors and Sunday school teachers that exalt God. Thankful for a congregation lead by an exceptionally talented music and praise ministry leading us to worship God as He so richly deserves.
Yes, I and my family are so blessed, strengthened and challenged by making this our church home.
A wonderful church with very friendly members. The pastor brings his message , right from the Bible in a meaningful and compassionate way for all to understand and relate to. I have visited a few times and listen to the messages on their website. Wonderful services from beginning to end ❤️
Went for a wedding. Very nice church.
I had visited there maybe 10 yrs. ago & was instantly in love with it. I went for a few short weeks then was unable to get there because of transportation issues & then life issues, but Every time I went I felt the spirit there and was moved by it EVERY Time!. I always left there getting something from it. & The people there are so friendly and awesome, they make you feel so welcome -Especially the preacher, Dr. Russel Morris. you can almost feel the love & kindness coming from him, as well as most ppl there! ot to mention, Russel Morris and the folks there make you feel comfortable and relaxed too. ..Oh.. and the worship?.. the music & the singing? Awesome! .. Simply beautiful! I have recently just been able to start attending here again & it is still the best church i have ever attended! I will not go anywhere else. Why would I? Once you find the best place you have to look no further. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this church. If you go, you'll be so glad you did.
